The development team at Slightly Mad Studios says that its Project CARS (an abbreviation for Community Assisted Racing Simulator) is set to launch during the early months of 2014.

The company is also delivering a new trailer designed to show off the impressive graphics quality of the game, which is not yet out of the alpha stage.

There are quite a few supercars featured in the video and it’s interesting to see how good a community-supported game can look.

Project CARS is being created by Slightly Mad Studios with funds that they have received from the fan base in return for selling future profits.

Those who have backed the game will get access to a part of 70 percent of the profit that the game makes during its first two years on sale.
