One of the most popular games available on mobile phones, Snake is now available for play in any browser that supports Flash.

Created by Gremlin Industries back in the 70s, the Snake game found its way into people’s pockets via Nokia mobile phones in late 90s.

In fact, the first mobile phone pre-loaded with Snake was the Nokia 6110. However, the game became more popular with the Nokia 3310 launch, back in 2000, which sold in more than 100 million units.

Nokia 3310 offered users an advanced version of the Snake game, which was simply called Snake 2. Since then the game was pre-installed on just about any Nokia phone that made it to the market.

Today, the Snake game is now available to play in glorious standard definition, courtesy to Paul Neave. Check it out here.
