Still, I have to admit that seeing a very young boy and an equally young girl enjoying a quiet breakfast together with a lion cub did put a smile on my face. Sources say that the three (Braxton West-Smith, Pesaus West and Zimbi, the lion cub) are part and parcel of Australia's family-run Stardust Circus.
In fact, it appears that Braxton is eager to become a lion tamer himself at one point in the future, and promises to only use humane methods when getting animals to do his bidding.
On the other hand, one cannot help but wonder whether or not the lion cub would not be more at ease in the savanna.
