See the difference between the two screens of the portable consoles

The PS Vita 2000, the new model of the portable console that's been announced by Sony, features an LCD screen instead of the regular Vita's OLED one, and two photos comparing them have just surfaced online.

Sony is preparing to debut in October a new and improved PS Vita 2000 model that includes a better battery, more color options, a built-in 1GB memory, and much more. The only downside, however, is that it replaces the OLED screen from the first edition with an LCD one.

In order to see the difference between the two display technologies, a Japanese Vita owner compared the old model with the new ones that are on display in retail stores.

As you can see in the photos above and below, via NeoGAF, the OLED screen is much better than the LCD one, producing more realistic colors.
