Singer Barbra Streisand has made her glorious return to the Oscars stage at last night’s 2013 edition held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. She was included in the “In Memoriam” tribute and did a heart-stopping rendition of “The Way We Were.”

Check out the video below to see it in full.

“Marvin Hamlisch was a composer of extraordinary depth and versatility. He was also a very kind and generous friend who could always make me laugh,” she said as she stepped on stage after the In Memoriam montage.

“Over the years, we shared many adventures together. Marvin left us way too soon, but I'll always have those wonderful, wonderful memories,” she added.

She chose “The Way We Were” to sing probably because she collaborated with Hamlisch on it.

Enjoy!
