Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia might plan the launch of a large Windows Phone device for the next year, one that could boast a touchscreen of around 6 inches, rumor has it.

The company has been said before to plan the release of such a device in 2013, but it seems that enthusiasts will actually have to wait a bit longer for it to arrive.

No official confirmation on the matter has been provided as of now, but a recent article on DigiTimes claims that, according to industry sources, Nokia is indeed in talks for the launch of such a smartphone.

Recently, Windows Phone has been said to be getting support for more screen sizes and resolutions, a move that could allow Nokia to launch such a device, although Microsoft is still mum on future enhancements for the platform.
