It seems that users now have the chance to get their hands on yet another high-end mobile phone, this time the Nokia N97, and Spain is again the fortunate country to have it first, as the handset has just been made available for pre-order today (Spanish mobile phone users were also the first to purchase the Google Android-powered HTC Magic).

And while Nokia Spain is set to make the Nokia N97 available for pre-order starting today, it seems that the handset will actually start being delivered only in June. The price that the high-end smartphone is expected to come with seems to have been set at €499 with no contract agreements required, which doesn't sound too bad considering what device we are talking about.

We already covered what was to say about the goodies this phone is set to come around with, and you should already be familiar with the side sliding QWERTY keyboard it features, not to mention the touchscreen display or the 5-megapixel photo snapper included in the package. At the same time, it is also known that users will be able to enjoy their favorite songs with the phone, given the 32GB of internal memory, to which support for microSD memory cards of up to 16GB is added.

According to the latest news on the web, the software of the Nokia N97 is currently getting the final touches, and the phone should be fully functional when the first units will come in June. However, we're still waiting to see if the actual release date is confirmed, since Vodafone was expected to launch it only in July, so we might have to wait a few more weeks before seeing it on the shelves. One way or the other, the S60 5th Edition phone is getting ready to hit the market, so stay tuned to learn more details on its availability as soon as they surface.
