While Olympus brought plenty of interesting new products at CES 2011, that's not stopped them from pushing even more attractive cameras onto the market, one of the latest novelties brought forth by the company being the SZ-10 digital camera, that offers ultra-zoom capabilities and quite a few other extras in a very slim and compact form factor.

Without a doubt, the most important selling point the camera has in store is represented by its f2.8 (Wide) / f5.6 (Tele) wide-angle lens (28-504mm equivalent in 35mm photography), being able to deliver an impressive 18x zoom level, despite of the fact that the camera's body is actually very slim.

Moreover, the SZ-10 also incorporates Olympus' 3D Photo Mode, that allows users to take 3D photos in a very fast and easy manner, while being able to record 720p HD video via a dedicated button and sporting a 3.0-inch LCD monitor with 460,000 pixels resolution.

Plus, in order to ensure the fact that users obtain good quality, clear photos, the digital camera incorporates a Dual Image Stabilization system that combines two technologies – Mechanical Sensor-Shift Image Stabilization and Digital Image Stabilization, as well as plenty of pre-set shooting modes.

“To have ultra-zoom power, you previously had to carry around a bulky camera with a big telephoto lens,” says Jennifer Schmell, product manager, Olympus Imaging America Inc.

“With an 18x wide-angle optical zoom in a super-slim body, the Olympus SZ-10 is ideal for anyone looking for versatility and zoom power to capture postcard-perfect shots every time,” the company's rep added.

If you're really interested by the features the new SZ-10 ultra-zoom camera from Olympus has in store, then you should know that it will be available in March 2011 at an estimated Street Price of around $249.99, which is actually quite OK, all things considered.
