14 DAY TRIAL // Great news for “CSI” fans: Marg Helgenberger, who left the popular series in 2012, has announced that she’ll be reprising her Catherine Willows character once more. Look forward to the episode this fall, when season 14 premieres.
Above is a photo Marg uploaded to her Twitter the other day, breaking the happy news to fans.
“Very excited to see my pals @CSI_CBS for the 300th! @davidberman88 @ElisabethHarnoi @CSIWritersRoom,” she writes.
The series executive producer Don McGill confirms that Willows will be back for the 300th episode of the show.
“We were just really excited to have Marg come back because, obviously, she’s such an important part of the history of ‘CSI’... And she was super excited. It was kismet!” McGill says.
Fans probably recall that, back when she announced her departure, Marg said she would always remain open to the idea of coming back for special cameos. Good to see she’s keeping her word.
