Even though AMD has started to ship the first Llano processors at the end of March, devices based on these APUs have been slow to make their appearance, but MSI has presented at this year's Computex fair the Wind Top AE2230 AIO which is based on the AMD A8-3500M processor.

The A8-3500M accelerated processing is one of the most powerful mobile chips in the Llano family and includes four processing cores that run at 1.5GHz (up to 2.4GHz in Turbo mode) as well as 4MB of L2 cache.

The Husky processing cores are paired together with a Radeon HD 6620G on-die GPU, which features 400 shader units clocked at 444Mhz, and with a dual-channel DDR3-1333MHz memory controller.

AMD estimates the TDP of the APU at about 35W, so MSI's system should have a pretty low power consumption.

On the outside, the all-in-one doesn't seem to differ too much from its Sandy Bridge counterparts and shares a similar feature list, including USB 3.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity, THX TruStudio Pro sound, and multi-touch capabilities.

The AMD APU can be paired together with as much as 8GB of DDR3 memory and users can also opt for various hard drive models, which top with an 640GB unit.

All around the chassis of the AE2230, MSI has installed all sort of ports and connectors including one eSATA port, two USB 3.0 ports, a multi-format card reader, an HDMI video output and the unit also features a DVD burner as well as a built-in 1.3MP webcam.

The display measures 22 inch in diagonal and has a Full-HD (1920x1080) native resolution.

AMD will officially launch the Llano accelerated processing unit on June 14, and the MSI Wind Top AE2230 is expected to become available soon afterwards. No information regarding the price of these AIOs was released. (via ComputerBase)
