She may be only 20, but Oscar-nominated actress Jennifer Lawrence knows what she wants from life, the industry she’s in and, most importantly, herself. One thing she promises to never do is succumb to pressure of being stick thin for the camera.

In an interview for the latest issue of Elle magazine, the gorgeous actress says her ideal of beauty is not that of a 13-year-old boy so she doesn’t plan on going to extremes to lose weight.

Instead, she wants to work with the body she has and, if possible, make her natural curves stand out even more – which is what she did when she shot one particular scene for the upcoming “X-Men: First Class.”

“I knew that if I was going to be naked in front of the world, I wanted to look like a woman and not a prepubescent 13-year-old boy… I’m so sick of people thinking that’s what we’re supposed to look like,” the star says.

She’s so sick of being told how to look and what to do (and, most importantly, what not to do) that, before the Oscars, she indulged in a high-calorie sandwich even though she had people telling her she should have a salad.

“Fifteen minutes before, the guy doing my hair goes, ‘If you can get a salad, get a salad… I said, ‘I’m getting a Philly cheesesteak.’ I’m sure there’s proof on a hotel bill somewhere,” she says.

This would come to slam those female stars who take everything weight and food related so seriously they would even starve herself for days before an event of the magnitude of the Oscars.

Ironically enough, while she professes to be completely anti-dieting and against all beauty norms in the industry, reports have it that Jennifer too went on a pretty severe diet to shed some weight for “X-Men: First Class,” which would mean she does want to abide by the rules.
