As celebrities go, bouncing back in shape after giving birth to a child seems an incredibly easy feat, with nothing more required than just some abstaining from sweets and a little more time spent in the gym working out. Whatever Jennifer Garner is doing though, she’s doing it well, unveiling at this year’s Golden Globes a very toned figure, one that, Life&Style says, is close to a size 0.

Fans must already know that Jennifer has always been of a rather athletic build, being a huge fan of weight training and running, as she said so repeatedly in the past. However, on the red carpet at this year’s Globes, she seemed slimmer than before and that’s because she’s now almost a size 0, sources say for the tabloid. However, this time too, she achieved this weight the healthy way, by eating right and working out a lot, the mag goes on to explain.

“When a slim Jennifer Garner stepped onto the stage recently at the Golden Globes in LA, the Versace-clad mom of two drew plenty of oohs and aahs. But her streamlined silhouette was a new look for the 37-year-old star, who was once famous for the super-muscular physique she showed off in action-hero roles. ‘She’s a size 0 now,’ an insider says about Jen, who has two daughters, Violet, 4, and Seraphina, 13 months, with hubby Ben Affleck. ‘She used to be a size 6’,” Life&Style writes in its most recent issue.

“That means after having her second child, Jen dropped the baby weight and more – which was tough to do the first time, she’s said. ‘I just wasn’t that motivated,’ Jen said about taking time to lose the weight after Violet’s birth. ‘Then I got on the treadmill, stopped stuffing my face and lost the weight. I cut out croissants, bagels and muffins – all the good stuff – and went back to having a salad once a day and protein’,” the same publication reads.

For more clarity and to show that Garner got this thin the healthy way, one should note that she gave birth to daughter Seraphina 13 months ago, which means she’s had plenty of time to exercise and eat right to shake off the extra pounds. Plus, not only is the actress a sports aficionado, but she’s also a very hands-on mom, always spending time outdoors with her two baby girls and this too burns plenty of calories.
