14 DAY TRIAL // The Donald’s daughter is a chip off the old block, US publications are saying in light of her lavish wedding ceremony this Sunday. Ivanka Trump married on-and-off boyfriend and fiancé of three months Jared Kushner on one of her father’s estates in a lavish ceremony that included more than 500 guests and was deemed worthy of a fairytale princess, People magazine informs.
There is little about the Trump family that can seriously be considered understated, and Ivanka’s nuptials are not included there, several e-zines say. Not only did the bride keep her Twitter followers up-to-date with everything going on before the big day, but she also made sure she got the kind of wedding a princess would envy her for, from the Vera Wang dress to the menus and the guest list, they say.
“Ivanka Trump wed Jared Kushner, publisher of the New York Observer, in a ceremony at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., on Sunday. She walked down the aisle in a Vera Wang gown inspired by Grace Kelly, before celebrating with her new husband, her father Donald Trump and more than 500 guests, including Regis Philbin, who was called on to sing at the reception planned by celebrity event designer Preston Bailey.” People writes of the fancy nuptials.
“I always envisioned myself having a traditional and elegant wedding.” Ivanka once said when asked about whether she ever thought of her wedding day. And, indeed, she got to have her wish come true, as insiders reveal for the aforementioned magazine that she looked absolutely breathtaking in her Vera Wang creation. Unfortunately, photos from the ceremony have not yet been made available but, since it’s become common practice with celebrities to sell wedding pictures, they’re bound to be published any day now.
“Just finished a gorgeous hike. The leaves are spectacular and the sun is shining. Everything is simply perfect! I’m getting married today!” Ivanka tweeted just hours before the big day. This goes to show that not all brides get the wedding jitters.
