Inno3D seems to be on a roll lately, as after the company has announced the introduction of two custom cooled GTX 560 Ti and GTX 550 Ti graphics card it now comes to release the much-anticipated GeForce GTX 570 iChill Edition which uses a special design to allow for improved performance.

The most distinctive feature of the new card is the addition of the iChill VC26 cooler which should offer better thermal and acoustic efficiency and that will also be used for an upcoming iChill version of the GTX 580.

At the heart of this cooling assembly lies a copper base which features five heatpipes that draw the heat away from the core and into two separate aluminum radiators.

These cover the whole surface of the PCB and are paired with three fans, two measuring 80mm in diameter while the third (the middle one) is a tad larger and measures 92mm.

All three will be PWM controlled, meaning their rotation speed varies depending on the load and the GPU's temperature.

To further improve the cooling of the GTX 570 iChill, Inno3D has also installed an aluminum heatspreader over the memory chips and the card's VRMs.

As a result of these changes, the core is now clocked at 780MHz while the memory has also been overclocked slightly to reach 1000MHz, compared to the standard 950MHz of the stock version.

Otherwise, the card seems to resemble all the other GTX 570 solutions available on the market as it features the same PCB layout (apart from a strange fan cutout), a standard 6+2 phase power supply design, as well as the usual dual-link DVI and mini-HDMI video outputs.

According to Expreview, the Inno3D GeForce GTX 570 iChill Edition should be making its way into retail as we speak, but pricing is still unknown.
