Photographer Iain McKell has recently published a book on the fashion and social interaction between New Age gypsies. The New Gypsies follows a group of well-to-do youngsters that took to the road, fascinated by the nomadic lifestyle.

The book narrates their adventures and illustrates these feats in incredible pictures, the Daily Mail reports. The New Gypsies features a collection of photographs taken by the artist during 10 years of following these travelers.

McKell first caught up to representatives of this movement some 25 years ago and was fascinated by their lifestyle. Since then, they have adapted to changing economies and means of communication, and are fans of modern technology. A clash of old and new makes their lives fascinating.

These modern gypsies live and travel in caravans, as they have given up petrol-fueled vehicles, but they use mobile phones and laptops and even have Facebook accounts.
