The 2011 edition of the IFA trade show is now underway, Smasung having brought a considerable collection of product to showcase, some of which, like a certain pair of cameras, we managed to get up close and personal with.

If anything is certain about the start of this September, it is that companies from around the world have and are still releasing products en masse.

Samsung itself delivered a variety of items, like the SE-208BW Smart Media Hub,the Galaxy Tab 7.7 and the NX200 and MV800 Cameras.

Since two of our colleagues are at IFA, in Berlin, dutifully and eagerly checking out every possible device they can reach, they managed to get a close look at the cameras.

As users might or may not remember, the MV800 is a compact device, with a 16.1 megapixel sensor, the Smart Touch 3.0 technology, picture in picture capabilities, a so-called Magic Frame and 3D live panorama, among other things.

Other assets one might find interesting are the 5x optical zoon and the wide flip-out nature of the touchscreen.

Meanwhile, the NX200, as the other camera is called, can easily be considered the higher-end newcomer.

Mostly, this is because it features a 20.3 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, one that no other product of this type has even been designed with.

The product boasts a PenTile AMOLED display (resolution of 640 x 480 pixels) with a diagonal of 3 inches, 3D photos and 3D panorama, a sensitivity of ISO 100 to ISO 12,800 (seven steps), HDMI 1.2 connectivity, micro USB and other assets.

Furthermore, Samsung implemented jump to key functions, meaning that buyers won't have to spend too much time getting lost in menus.

Unfortunately, as before, there is no information on the availability and pricing of either product. Hopefully, Samsung won't take overly long before finally disclosing these final tidbits.

Note: Fellow editors Cosmin Vasile and Sorin Nita are on the floor at the 2011 IFA Show and are keeping us posted with pictures and live reports on the latest product previews and launches.
