This is not the first time when the journalist's virtual possessions are targeted

“Difficult times. Hackers have deleted all my websites,” read a tweet posted by Amit Agarwal on July 1.

The Wall Street Journal India tech columnist and founder of the Digital Inspiration (Labnol.org) blog announced the fact that the site was hacked on June 27 and it took him a few days to get it back and running.

This is not the first time when Agarwal is the target of hackers. According to The Next Web, in 2009 his Google Apps account was taken over and in February 2011 his Facebook profile had the same fate.

It’s uncertain at this time why labnol.org has become a target, but some users believe that it may have something to do with the fact that the author is connected to Wall Street Journal, a publication whose articles have been condemned on numerous occasions by hacktivists.
