Hero Siege, a top-down hack & slash game developed by Elias Viglione and Jussi Kukkonen and published by Panic Art Studios, will arrive on Steam for Linux.

The aim of this game is pretty simple – slay anyone who is not you. The developers say this is a gore-filled hack & slash game with heavy Rogue-like elements, and the images don't lie.

"The kingdom of Tarethiel has been taken over by creatures of hell. Your mission is to cleanse the kingdom and free the citizen from the agonizing wrath of the demon child called Damien. Grab your axe, bow, gun or magic powers and start purging the Gate Keepers and their minions!" notes the developer on the official Steam website.

The information about the Linux version is taken from the Steam database and by no means is it completely certain. The Steam Database is a record of data that describes every Steam game and subscription provided by Valve for the Steam service.

Usually, the new entries are first visible in the Steam Database before their official launch.
