Weird but extreme fun

Re Jin Lee is a New York based artist who has a different perspective on fun, at least when it comes to mixing amusement with scaring someone. His latest creation is a most funny one, provided you're neither the over-sensitive type, nor an easily scared individual. The Ant-covered Cup and Saucer make up a very cool table set, which will grant you lots of fun again and again, each time you'll be using it to serve a cup of coffee or tea to your friends and visitors.

Now, on the visitors' side, one is advised to use this gadget with great care, as the Ant-covered Cup and Saucer may not be considered that funny by all of them. This set could not be the best idea, especially if you run into people who are afraid of insects, unless you're ready to hear screams and see the coffee spilled all over the place.

In fewer words, one could definitely say that the Ant-covered Cup and Saucer is one cool prank idea for those who can taste it. Basically, we're talking about a cup and saucer set made from fine white porcelain, and sporting a very homely and inoffensive look – if you look at them from the right angle. Just turn them, and you'll be surprised to notice not one or two, but tens of small black ants that have infested your kitchen ware.

Moreover, one daring creature has even made it over the top and has slipped in your very cup, seemingly rushing to take the first sip from your beverage. Now, if you're still willing to read on, we'll just add that each ant has been hand-painted and then transferred to a decal. Thus, these pottery items are even cooler, because, in light of their hand-crafted nature, the designs slightly vary. The decals have been fire-cured and are both dishwasher and microwave oven safe, so there's no fear you'll ever get rid of these ants.

If you feel like giving your folk a good scare, have some $47 at hand and wait for Lee to make a number of new Ant-covered Cups and Saucers, as the current edition is sold out.

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there.
