Ranysoft has announced that two of the company’s popular Mac apps, Sketchpad and WebShare, are now free to download from the Mac App Store.

Sketchpad is a photo editing tool that can open and save as most image formats, including BMP, PNG, JPEG, TIFF, and GIF. The app is similar to Microsoft Paint in that it also allows users to scribble drawings on a blank sheet of paper.

The app requires OS X 10.6.6 Snow Leopard or later and is now free to download from the Mac App Store’s Graphics & Design section.

WebShare, a web server that shares between iDevices and computers, is also free. According to Ranysoft, “WebShare is limit free for several days.”

This one is said to be supported on OS X versions as old as Tiger (10.4), though you can only use Snow Leopard (or newer) to download the app from the Mac App Store.
