Sony has confirmed that it's going to debut a free title update for Gran Turismo 6 tomorrow, on January 14, which brings a brand new concept, in the form of the Toyota FT-1, to the racing simulator.

Gran Turismo 6 made its debut last month exclusively, at least for the time being, on the PS3.

Besides the many cars featured in the racing simulator for the game, developer Polyphony Digital also included a special section dedicated to concept cars that would be released at a later point in time.

Now, a brand new concept has just been confirmed by the studio, in the form of the Toyota FT-1, which was just revealed in real life at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

Tomorrow, January 14, a free patch for Gran Turismo 6 will be released on the PS3 that will add the actual concept car but also a season event starring the Toyota FT-1.

If players score a bronze or better in the challenge, they'll receive the car for free. Those who don't want to try their skills can just buy it from the in-game dealership.
