Besides the proven desktop environments for Fedora 19 Alpha "Schrödinger's Cat," GNOME and KDE, the developers are also offering an Xfce spin.

The Xfce desktop environment experience is a lot smoother and it works great on older computers. In the Fedora world, the Xfce version is considered a spin.

“Interest-specific Spins include the Design Suite Spin, the Robotics Spin, and the Security Spin, among others. Other available desktop environments, in addition to the GNOME 3.8 desktop which is shipped in the default version of Fedora 19, as well as those highlighted above, include Xfce, Sugar on a Stick, and LXDE,” reads the official announcement.

There aren't many details available about the distribution, but it uses Thunar 1.6.2, Mozilla Firefox 20.0, Abiword 2.8.6, and of course, Xfce 4.10.

You can download Fedora 19 Alpha from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
