Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has always been in amazing shape, his background as a professional athlete undoubtedly having a lot to do with it. Still, his impressive physique is worth mentioning one more time.

The actor is now working on the fifth film in the “The Fast and The Furious” franchise but, as TMZ informs, he still finds the time to go to the gym to work on his bulging muscles.

Decked in a navy blue wifebeaters and shorts, the actor tried to fly under the radar with a cap, shades and a graying goatee – but, the truth is, those muscles speak for themselves.

“Dwayne The Rock Johnson found some time to hit an L.A. gym in between shooting scenes for ‘The Fast and the Furious 5’ – and from the looks of this photo.... he’s playing the role of a diesel truck,” eTMZ writes, much in awe of his excellent physical condition.

“As for the Miami shirt – dude used to play football for The U back in the day... and was a member on the 1991 National Championship squad,” the same e-zine points out.

As some of you may remember, earlier this year, the actor appeared in Muscle & Fitness magazine, talking about his workout and diet, as well as about how he grew up dreaming of one day making it on the cover of the mag.

Not only did he get to see his dream come true, he’s also now a contributor to it.

Before that, Fit & Healthy revealed some tips to get a body like Dwayne’s – or at least close to his, including how his workout looked like and how he believed cheating on his diet once a week was essential.

“Dwayne Johnson warm ups with a pair of 40-pound dumbbells, and seems to like a combination of high reps, short rest periods, and supersets. His workouts are relatively short (45 minutes), but to the point,” the e-zine noted.

“He favors split bodypart training, working only one or two major muscle groups a day. Although his workout routine is not all about compound movements, it has some good exercises such as military press, back extension, leg press, and preacher curl,” Fit & Healthy also said.

“His favorite cheat foods are donuts and pizza, but the diet itself is well rounded. He consumes about 1 gram of protein for each pound of his bodyweight, a moderate amount of carbs, and supplements daily with multivitamins, ZMA, joint formula, and glutamine,” the publication also said.

Dwayne is a huge fans of protein shakes and would not part from foods like chicken breast, beef and vegetables, which is why he always makes sure to always include them in his diet.

As also noted above, Dwayne is now shooting for “The Fast and The Furious.” Until this movie comes out, he (and his impressive strong arms) can also be seen in another cars movie, “Faster,” which comes out later this year.

Below is a video for it, enjoy.
