A man from Mansfield in Ohio has put down as his last request that his favorite football team send pall bearers to his funeral, just so that they can let him down once more.

“He respectfully requests six Cleveland Browns pall bearers so the Browns can let him down one last time,” Scott Emtsinger's obituary in the Columbus Dispatch reads.

55-year-old Entsminger worked for General Motors for 32 years and he was also part of a band. According to the obit, the devoted fan would send the Browns a song each year, along with instructions on how to improve their game.

They obviously ignored his advice, as they have been on a losing streak, which explains Emtsinger's pun on them “letting him down” for one last time before he is put in the ground.
