A snapshot reveals one of the largest traffic jams in history, on the M10 in Russia, this weekend. It looks like it was an epic jam for motorists in the Tver region.

You can see as the trail gets lost in the horizon, on a snowy day. The photo was taken on the M10 highway, somewhere between Moscow and St. Petersburg, 30 miles (48 km) from the city of Tver.

RIA Novosti quotes reports indicating that, on Sunday afternoon, December 2, the line was about 125 miles (200 km) long. For some truck drivers and motorists, it was a three-day ordeal to get to their destination.

The funny thing is that, with some gas stations sold out and store owners on the highway raising prices for coffee and beverages, officials set up a support hotline to help motorists psychologically.
