Brings WAN Link Balancing and HTTPS Filtering

After many months in BETA, Astaro recently released the final version of Astaro Security Gateway 7.400, bringing many new features that will improve functionality and make the product more capable.

"Most notably are the introduction of full WAN Link Balancing, HTTPS Filtering, Site-to-Site SSL VPN, and Cisco IPSec Client Support, along with dozens of other exciting new features." said Angelo Comazzetto in the official release announcement.

Some of the new features in Astaro Security Gateway 7.400:

· HTTPS Filtering and Scanning with the ability to block certain programs; · WAN Link Balancing with auto traffic balance and multiple Internet connections support; · Site-to-Site SSL VPN with full IP-Access and quick & easy configuration; · URL Filtering Groups are now customizable ; · Support for PDF and CSV type reports; · New AntiVirus Engine with Avira and Clam AV included; · Availability Network Groups - creates an ordered group of network resources, creates a redundancy in VPN Gateway Targets and specifies fallback servers for Directory Authentication; · User Object Toggle allows users to disable User-Objects instead of deleting them; · Support fot the Cisco IPSEC CLient; · Support for multiple interfaces in DynDNS; · Compatibility between DynDNS and Upstream NAT/Masq; · The WebAdmin interface now displays the DynDNS Status; · The iPhone is now supported and users will have access to a special download for the device; · An improved Up2Date progress; · The "Test-User" Authentication tool is now able to report the user's group; · Historial Executive Reports.

Besides these new features, Astaro Security Gateway 7.400 brings loads of minor updates and bugfixes for an improved functionality, performance and overall experience. The Astro Security Gateway 7.400 can be used on Linux through Mozilla Firefox 3.0. The minimum system requirements are: Intel Pentium 4 at 1.8 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 12 GB HDD space.
