Foosball like it used to be

Foosball was and continues to be one of the cool and fun ways to spend some quality time, whether you're in a pub or at home. A foosball table and at least one friend to play with, and there you have it, a captivating experience during rainy nights or at parties. You can, of course, choose from an immense number of foosball tables in countless finishes and colors, from the high-tech ones to the basic models, finding the one that suits you best in terms of looks and, naturally, budget.

But it's some special tables this piece of news is about: antique ones, destined to be admired as much as played on. And, of course, most likely dedicated to those individuals who are not on a very clearly-specified budget.

Now, if you're a collector and you are willing to spend some green on a couple of exquisite pieces of art that will definitely make your friends and visitors envy you, you could take a look at what Brocantique has to offer, because you'll not be disappointed. If you're an art-deco lover or you like a cool steampunk-ish approach to your precious collectibles, these pieces should definitely do the trick.

One of the antique tables comes from Swinnen Automatique and has a French origin; it is crafted in solid wood, with silvery metal pieces and leather, all for a nifty display of opulence and refinement, with black bakelite ball and handle grasps and carefully trimmed details. The construction is extremely solid yet its operation is smooth and will make playing a true pleasure.

The other classic item is a restored "champion" table from the 50s, still in perfect working condition and with all the luster and noble accents beautifully brought back to life. Sporting a beech rack and neatly polished metal parts, this foosball table also comes with a rubber playing surface and still possesses perfect red bakelite handle grasps. Rubber shock absorbers have been replaced and the coin intake has been updated for Euro.

Prices and availability upon request. Collectors should hurry because stocks are rather limited.
