Specialists say environmental factors are to blame

Specialists wish to warn the general public that, all things considered, this year's allergy season in the US might just be the worst one yet.

Apparently, those suffering with various allergies have climate change and global warming to thank for their having to cope with a noteworthy presence and persistence of allergens, My Health News Daily informs us.

Thus, researchers claim that recent weather manifestations will make things go from bad to worse for all those who happen to have allergies.

“We found that the previous year's precipitation was a major impact on the following year's pollen production. Sandy and snowstorms will increase the pollen production in the Northeast severalfold,” allergy specialist Dr. Leonard Bielory told members of the press.

Should climate change continue to progress, odds are that allergy seasons will only get worse as the years go by.

“For the year 2020, it looks realistic to say pollen counts will increase by 20 percent,” Dr. Leonard Bielory warns.
