We reported to you last week about the ZUK’s upcoming flagship smartphone, the Z2 Pro, which has been recently confirmed for an April 21 release.

Fast forward a few days and ZUK teased the first image of the Z2 Pro. Aside from its name, nothing else is revealed in the teaser, but we get a glimpse at the rear-facing camera and the dual-LED flash.

We’re also able to notice that the Z2 Pro won’t come with a fingerprint scanner on the back cover, which means ZUK added one under the physical Home button in the front.

If you’ve been out of the loop regarding ZUK Z2 Pro’s rumored specs, here is a quick recap. Keep in mind, though, that the information hasn’t been confirmed by ZUK, so it remains to be seen how accurate it is.

As expected, ZUK added the latest chipset coming from Qualcomm, the 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 820, paired with an Adreno 530 graphics processing unit and either 3GB or 4GB of RAM.

Furthermore, the ZUK Z2 Pro packs 32GB of internal memory, but there’s no mention of microSD card slot at this time, so let’s hope it comes with one.

It could be one of the cheapest Snapdragon 820-powered phones

Although the information has not been confirmed yet, ZUK Z2 Pro might cost around $300 outright, which could make it one of the cheapest smartphones powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. Also, ZUK’s new flagship will come with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system onboard.

But there are more goodies inside the ZUK Z2 Pro, as rumor has it the device will feature a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, as well as a secondary 8-megapixel photo snapper on the front, which should be perfect for selfies and video calls.

We don’t know the size of the phone’s display, but we do know ZUK Z2 Pro supports full HD (1080p) resolution, which might be disappointing for some.

Even though ZUK Z2 Pro will be initially launched in China and India, other countries in the region might get the flagship soon afterwards.
