ZTE introduced the Blade V8 Pro back earlier this month at CES 2017 trade fair and promised to bring it to the shelves a few weeks later. True to its promise, ZTE launched its first ever Blade smartphone in the United States, the Blade V8 Pro.

This isn't really a high-end smartphone, though it does offer some features that some handset makers are saving for their flagships or high-end devices. One of these features is the dual-camera setup, which the Blade V8 Pro packs on the back side.

ZTE Blade V8 Pro is an affordable mid-range smartphone that's now available in the US through all major retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy, B&H Photo, and Newegg. Customers can pick this one up for only $229 outright.

It's worth noting that customers who purchase the ZTE Blade V8 Pro at Newegg will also receive a set of noise-cancelling headphones.

As mentioned earlier, the main selling point of the Blade V8 Pro is the dual-lens rear camera setup that includes two 13-megapixel photo snappers. The phone also comes with a secondary 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

The Blade V8 Pro is powered by a more than decent octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory (expandable via microSD card slot).

ZTE's mid-range Android smartphone sports a 5.5-inch display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution. The Chinese company also states that the phone packs a dual-SIM slot, but only for GSM networks, and a fingerprint sensor in the front.

Last but not least, the Blade V8 Pro is powered by a 3,140 mAh battery that benefits from Qualcomm's Quick Charge 2.0 fast charging technology. Keep in mind that ZTE Blade V8 Pro ships with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system right out of the box.
