14 DAY TRIAL // The other day, Jennifer Aniston made her first red carpet appearance since tying the knot with Justin Theroux in a secret backyard ceremony on August 5. She was more than happy to show off her wedding band to photographers, but don’t expect her to start dishing details about the ceremony anytime soon.
As she put it to a reporter from Entertainment Tonight, she and Justin were lucky to keep the wedding a secret so that they could really enjoy it, and she would rather they kept it that way.

You can see Jen’s exchange with ET’s Cameron Mathison in the video below. The event she was out for was the premiere of her latest film, “She’s Funny That Way,” and she made it clear that, while she didn’t mind being asked the question, she had long decided not to answer it.
“I’m not telling you any of that stuff!,” she said when Mathison told her he just “had” to ask her about the wedding. Privacy is more important than anything, she continued.
“We had the beautiful luxury of having a beautiful private moment and I’m going to be selfish and keep it that way!” she continued.
She did, however, tell a different reporter that she was terribly giddy with happiness for taking this important step in her relationship.
Aniston will probably talk about the wedding, but not now
Despite her claim that she will be “selfish” and not talk about the wedding, she will probably do so farther down the line. She took a similar stance when Justin proposed to her in 2012 and she ended up talking about the relationship and the engagement in later interviews.
It’s true, she never got into specifics, but she didn’t keep mum on the topic either.
On the downside, for fans, her mention that she’ll not discuss the wedding with the press will also mean that there will be no exclusive photo spread in one of the big celebrity publications. Aniston and People Magazine have had a solid working relationship for years, so it was to be expected of her to give them the exclusive.
It looks as though they got cheated out of the deal.
