Softpedia has just been informed today, June 4, 2016, by Željko Popivoda from the Linux AIO team that the Linux AIO Ubuntu project has finally been updated to Ubuntu 16.04 LTS operating system.

Yes, the moment you've been waiting for is here, and you can now have all the essential Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) Live CD editions into a single ISO image. Linux AIO Ubuntu 16.04 includes Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, Ubuntu MATE 16.04 LTS, Kubuntu 16.04 LTS, Xubuntu 16.04 LTS, Lubuntu 16.04 LTS, and Ubuntu GNOME 16.04 LTS.

With the Linux AIO Ubuntu 16.04 edition, you will finally be able to have a single USB stick or DVD disc that you can carry with you everywhere and containing the Ubuntu 16.04 (Xenial Xerus) flavors listed above, which you can showcase to your friends or customers without having to insert different USB flash drives or DVD discs.

Linux AIO Ubuntu 16.04 available for download now

The Linux AIO Ubuntu 16.04 Live DVD ISO images are available for download right now via Softpedia or directly from the Linux AIO website, where you'll also find torrent links, and there are three ISOs available, for 64-bit, 32-bit, and a mix version of both.

However, the Linux AIO team informs us that, because of the size limitation imposed by the SourceForge website, where the ISOs are hosted, the Linux AIO Ubuntu 16.04 images have been split into two archives, compressed with the 7z compression algorithm.

So to obtain a usable ISO images, you'll need to download both parts of the archive and extract the first one. Then, you can write the ISO image to either a USB flash drive of 8GB or higher capacity, or a dual-layer DVD. More information about Linux AIO Ubuntu 16.04 and other editions can be found on the project's website.
