Softpedia was informed a few minutes ago, April 6, 2016, by Željko Popivoda of the Linux AIO team about the immediate availability for download of the Linux AIO Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS Live DVDs.

For those of you who are not in the loop, Linux AIO is a group of skilled GNU/Linux developers that build all-in-one Live ISO images with the hottest editions of a popular GNU/Linux operating system, such as Ubuntu, Debian Live, Fedora, Linux Mint, Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE), Zorin OS, ROSA, PCLinuxOS, Korora, Porteus, and others.

As you may know or not, Canonical has recently released the fourth maintenance release for its long-term supported Trusty Tahr series of operating systems, Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS, so today you can finally have a single Live ISO image with all the mainstream flavors of Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS.

What's inside Linux AIO Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS

Inside the Linux AIO Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS Live DVDs, you will find the Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS, Kubuntu 14.04.4 LTS, Xubuntu 14.04.4 LTS, Lubuntu 14.04.4 LTS, and Ubuntu GNOME 14.04.4 LTS editions, along with two useful utilities for checking your computer's memory for errors or see if your hardware components are compatible.

"As you can see it comes without Ubuntu MATE, which was on Linux AIO Ubuntu 14.04.2 release," said Željko Popivoda. "The latest 14.04 release of Ubuntu MATE is 14.02.2 and Ubuntu MATE team decided not to publish new 14.04 releases. It will, however, be on Linux AIO Ubuntu 15.10 release and every next release."

Linux AIO Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS is distributed as two Live ISO images, one for each of the supported hardware architectures, 32-bit (x86) and 64-bit (x86_64), and you can download them right now from our website. You can write the ISOs on either USB flash drives or DVD discs, but please note that UEFI support is not available.

The Linux AIO Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS Live ISOs are the perfect tool for those who want to carry with them everywhere they go, the Kubuntu, Xubuntu, Lubuntu, Ubuntu GNOME, and Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS Live editions, without the need to have 4-5 separate CDs/DVDs or USB keys with each flavor of the respective OS.
