Zeljko Popivoda of the Linux AIO team informs Softpedia today on the general availability of an ISO image containing all essential flavors of the recently released Ubuntu 17.10 (Artful Aardvark) operating system.

Meet Linux AIO Ubuntu 17.10, a unique and bootable ISO image that contains 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the official, untouched Ubuntu 17.10, Kubuntu 17.10, Xubuntu 17.10, Lubuntu 17.10, Ubuntu MATE 17.10, and Ubuntu Budgie 17.10 releases. The ISO also contains a memory test tool and a hardware detection utility.

If you're wondering what you can do with the Linux AIO Ubuntu 17.10 ISO image, let us tell you that it might come in handy when you want to showcase several Ubuntu flavors to your customers before they decide which want they want to install on their computers. This way, you'll only carry a single USB stick with you, not six.

A Linux AIO Ubuntu 17.10 Mix ISO is also available

In addition to the 32-bit and 64-bit ISO images, the Linux AIO team also released today a Linux AIO Ubuntu 17.10 Mix ISO image containing Ubuntu 17.10 for 64-bit, Kubuntu 17.10 for 64-bit, Ubuntu Budgie 17.10 for 64-bit, Lubuntu 17.10 for 32-bit, Xubuntu 17.10 for 32-bit, and Ubuntu MATE 17.10 for 32-bit.

You can download the Linux AIO Ubuntu 17.10 release right now from our website, but please note that the ISO images were split into several .7z archives because they're way too big for the hosting website where they are stored. You should also note that you must write them on an 8GB or 16GB USB flash drive.

"Due to limitations on SourceForge servers (max 5GB file can be uploaded) we needed to split ISO files. This is done by archiving ISO with .7z archiver in two parts. You need to download both parts and then to extract them. For extracting these files all you need is to have .7z archiver installed on your computer," Linux AIO team wrote.

For those not familiar with the Linux AIO project, it's a non-profit organization formed for educational purposes to build unique ISO images containing all the essential flavors of various popular GNU/Linux distributions, including Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, Linux Mint, Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE), and many others.
