Fedora Ambassador and Fedora Unity Project leader Ben Williams is happy to announce the availability of new, updated Live ISO images of the Fedora 24 GNU/Linux operating system.

Dubbed F24-20160815, the updated Fedora 24 Live ISOs are respins of the official and most popular Fedora 24 Spins and flavors, such as Fedora 24 Workstation, Fedora 24 KDE, Fedora 24 Xfce, Fedora 24 LXDE, Fedora 24 Cinnamon, Fedora 24 MATE, and Fedora 24 JAM KDE. A DVD image that contains the sources is available as well.

"As always these respins can be found at http://tinyurl.com/Live-respins2. Using the updated isos will save about 500M of updates after install YMMV (Gold MATE install updates as of 20160808 is 583M)," says Ben Williams in the blog announcement. "I would like to thank the community and the seeders for their dedication to this project."

Here's what you can do with the new Fedora 24 Linux updated Live ISOs

The F24-20160815 ISO images were published on August 16, 2016, which means that they contain all the security fixes and software updates that have been pushed to Fedora 24's main repositories since the launch of the previously updated Live ISOs on August 8, dubbed F24-20160808.

Of course, this can only mean that you'll be able to deploy the Fedora 24 Linux operating system on new computers using these updated Live ISO images without having to go to all the trouble of downloading and installing a bunch of updated packages from the software repos of the distribution.

The Fedora 24 respin ISO images are available for download, for free, right now if you access the shortened URL posted. However, please try to keep in mind that they were designed to run only on 64-bit capable hardware. Existing Fedora 24 users don't need to download anything, just make sure you have the latest security updates applied.
