Sony revealed its two latest smartphones, the Xperia XZ and Xperia X Compact, during IFA 2016 and it seems that pre-orders in Europe have already gone live. Customers from Europe will be able to get the Sony MDR-XB950BT headphones for free for each pre-order of the Xperia XZ.

Sony's MDR-XB950BT headphones carry a price tag of about £150, but customers who pre-order the Xperia XZ will be able to get them for free. The promotion, which was first spotted by Xperia Blog, is available in multiple European countries, including UK, Germany, Italy, Poland, Sweden and the Netherlands.

However, the offer is linked to a condition - customers from the UK must place their orders until October 5, while those from the rest of Europe until October 10. The price of the phone varies by retailer and country.

In the UK, fans can buy the phone for £500 from Carphone Warehouse or £550 from Clove. The smartphone carries a price tag of about $786 in Italy, the Netherlands and Germany, $822 in Sweden, and $772 in Poland.

The Xperia XZ will be available in three color variants

Sony announced that the Xperia XZ would be made available in three colors, Forest Blue, Mineral Black and Platinum.

The smartphone comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD 1080p display with 3GB of RAM and Snapdragon 820 processor. It also has a 23MP rear camera with f/2.3 aperture and fast capture. In addition, the smartphone comes equipped with a 13MP camera in the front and 64GB of internal memory.

Battery capacity reaches 2,900mAh with Quick Charge and a fingerprint scanner is embedded in the home button. Internal memory can be expanded to 256GB using a microSD card and the smartphone measures 146 x 72 x 8.1mm and weighs 161 grams.

Apparently, Sony will be making the Xperia XZ and Xperia X Compact available in the US as well, but these two variants won't have a fingerprint scanner.
