One of the most anticipated flagships to be revealed this month, Xiaomi Mi5 has just been spotted in benchmarks with some specs in tow.

Xiaomi's upcoming smartphone was expected to pack a 5.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display with Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution, but the handset maker denied these rumors and confirmed that the Mi5 would actually include a full HD (1080p) display.

However, Xiaomi did not announce the size of the screen inside the Mi5, so we assumed that the 5.2-inch is the correct size. A 5.2-inch display with full HD (1080p) resolution is quite decent even for a flagship smartphone.

The bad news is the listing of the Xiaomi Mi5 at GFXBench shows the smartphone will come with a large 5.7-inch display. The image on such a massive display with 1080p resolution might not look that good at all.

Naturally, there's a chance that the prototype unit tested in GFXBench might have reported some of the specs wrong, and the Xiaomi Mi5 might actually come with a slightly smaller display, but chances are slim.

Specs include 3GB RAM and 64GB ROM

Apart from the larger display, the benchmark also confirms Xiaomi Mi5 will be equipped with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, coupled with an Adreno 530 graphics processing unit and only 3GB of RAM.

Also, the smartphone includes 64GB of internal memory, but there's no mention of microSD card slot, so we can't be sure Xiaomi will add this feature as well.

Other highlights of the phone include rear- and front-facing cameras, though they haven't been listed in GFXBench. Wi-Fi and NFC (Near Field Communication) are confirmed as well, along with pedometer, GPS with AGPS support, gyroscope, compass, Bluetooth, and proximity sensor.

There's no mention of battery, but Xiaomi Mi5 will definitely ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system right out of the box.
