Xiaomi is not over with the smartphone releases for this year. The Chinese company is expected to launch at least two new devices by the end of 2015, the Mi5 and Mi Note 2.

Both devices are rumored to be unveiled sometime in November, but the information hasn't been confirmed by Xiaomi yet.

According to a new report, today, yet another rumor coming from @Leaksfly, claims Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be officially introduced on November 5.

The information has been leaked via Weibo, but once again we recommend our reader to take it with a grain of salt since it hasn't been confirmed.

According to the cited source, Xiaomi Mi Note 2 should boast a large 5.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution.

This puts it in the flagship category, even though the Chinese company is expected to launch another high-end smartphone this year, the Mi5.

4GB RAM and deca-core CPU?

Apart from the hyper-vibrant display, the Mi Note 2 will also come with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. There's no mention of microSD card slot for memory expansion, but this shouldn't surprise anyone since Xiaomi is known for not offering this feature in all of its high-end handsets.

Xiaomi Mi Note 2 could ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system right out of the box and the latest version of MIUI.

Other highlights of the unannounced smartphone include Qualcomm's ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and a 16-megapixel photo snapper on the back.

The tipster who leaked the launch date of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 also claims the smartphone will feature a metal body and 4G LTE support.

Last but not least, the Mi Note 2 could also be equipped with MediaTek's powerful deca-core MT6797 Helio X20 processor, while another version of the smartphone could arrive in 2016 with Snapdragon 820 CPU onboard.
