Xiaomi fans who did not order the company’s new flagship smartphone, the Mi 5, will be pleased to know they will soon have the option to purchase the most advanced handset ever launched by the Chinese company.

Some of you might recall that Xiaomi announced last month that three Mi 5 variants would be launched on the market in the coming months, but only two hit shelves earlier this month.

The third version of Xiaomi Mi 5, the most expensive one, hasn’t been introduced on the market yet. However, that will change as soon as next month, according to a new report.

Xiaomi plans to launch the ceramic Xiaomi Mi 5 Pro on April 6. The smartphone will only be available in China initially for a price of 2,699 yuan, which is about $415 outright.

It will probably be up for pre-order at some Chinese retailers that ship internationally, but customers will have to pay much more for this Xiaomi Mi 5 Pro variant.

Aside from its ceramic body, the Mi 5 Pro will pack 4GB of RAM and no less than 128GB of internal memory, which is very important since the device does not come with microSD card slot for memory expansion.

Other specs of the Xiaomi Mi 5 Pro include a 5.15-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution with 2.5D curved glass coating.

Powerful Snapdragon 820 CPU, 16MP camera, and USB Type-C port

On the inside, the high-end smartphone packs a 2.15GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and a powerful Adreno 530 graphics processing unit.

On the back, the Mi 5 Pro boasts an impressive 16-megapixel photo snapper with Sony IMX298 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus, 4-axis OIS (optical image stabilization), and 4K video recording.

There’s also a secondary 4-megapixel camera on the front with f/2.0 aperture and 80-degree wide-angle lens for selfies and video calls.

Xiaomi Mi 5 Pro offers both dual-SIM and 4G LTE support, as well as other connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC (Near Field Communication), USB Type-C port and GPS with AGPS.

It’s also worth mentioning the handset is powered by a 3,000 mAh non-removable battery that features Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, and it ships with MIUI 7 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
