We had the world’s first smartphone with curved display, we also had the world’s first smartphone with 6GB RAM, so why not the world’s smallest Android smartphone?

The new Posh Mobile Micro X S240 is supposed to be the smallest Android smartphone available on the market, at least according to the company that produces it.

Those tempted to grab the tiny device will be pleased to know they won’t have to pay a fortune for one, as Amazon is now selling it for just $50 outright.

Posh Mobile Micro X S240 is as small as a credit card. The listing at Amazon confirms the smartphone measures 88.9 x 48.26 x 11.7mm and weighs only 54g (battery included).

Small, but decent when it comes to specs

As the title says, the smartphone comes with a 2.4-inch TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 16 million colors. It also offers 4G HSDPA+ support (GSM 850/1900/2100 MHz), among other connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB 2.0 and GPS with AGPS.

The Micro X S240 is powered by a 1GHz dual-core MediaTEK MT6752M processor, coupled with 512MB of RAM and just 4GB of storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

It also packs a modest 2-megapixel camera on the back with video recording (no LED flash), as well as a VGA front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Also, the smartphone drains energy from a small 650 mAh battery that should provide up to 180 hours of standby time or up to 4 hours of talk time.

Posh Mobile Micro X S240 will ship with Android 4.4 KitKat operating system right out of the box. Speaking of which, Amazon will only ship this device in the United States.

It’s also worth mentioning the smartphone includes $15 in Uber travel from Posh Mobile. The offer is only available for new Uber users. Customers will also be able to choose from black, white, blue, and pink color options.
