While Samsung, Xiaomi and Huawei will try to rush their flagship smartphones to shelves in February / March, there's one company that doesn't have to rush at all.

Chinese electronics giant LeTV will launch its flagship smartphone, the Max Pro, in just a few weeks from now.

Unveiled earlier this month at CES 2016 as the world's first announced Snapdragon 820-powered smartphone, LeTV Max Pro has been certified at TENA, the Chinese regulatory commission.

Since TENAA has already certified the Max Pro, we expect the high-end smartphone to hit shelves in the next couple of weeks.

However, the powerful device might not be available outside China initially, though we suspect LeTV will want to capitalize on the fact that Max Pro is the world's first announced Snapdragon 820-powered smartphone and will bring it to other countries as well.

While we do not have any information regarding price, we do know LeTV Max Pro will be available in both Gold and Silver colors, and that it will ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system right out of the box.

However, LeTV's Max Pro phablet won't be easy to carry. Even though it weighs just 200g (battery included), the smartphone boasts a huge 6.3-inch display and measures 167 x 83.4 x 8.95 mm.

No microSD card, rather small battery

Another downside might be the fact that it doesn't come with microSD card slot for memory expansion. On the bright side, it packs 64GB of internal memory be default.

The powerful 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor is paired with an Adreno 530 graphics processing unit and 4GB of RAM.

Naturally, the 6.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution, but there's no mention of Corning Gorilla Glass coating.

LeTV Max Pro packs a 21-megapixel camera on the back, coupled with a secondary 8-megapixel camera in the front.

It would make sense for LeTV to include a massive battery inside the Max Pro since it benefits from such a powerful hardware configuration. Sadly, the smartphone has been confirmed to pack a 3,400 mAh battery.

The good news is the smartphone also includes Quick Charge 2.0 technology from Qualcomm, which should allow the battery to charge from 0% to 60% in about 30 minutes.
