There aren't too many triple-SIM smartphones available on the market since few people own three SIM cards that they need to carry around all the time.

Even though some of these triple-SIM smartphones might pack a 5-inch display, they are only available in certain countries and will not work with many carriers.

This issue seems to have been addressed by Chinese OEM Bluboo, which announced the upcoming availability of the world's first global triple-SIM smartphone that sports a 5-inch display.

The Xfire 2 will be available for purchase worldwide beginning January 2016. Customers will be able to pick this one up for just $70 outright.

Bluboo Xfire 2 is likely to be retailed through major Chinese online resellers, so keep your eyes peeled for any offers coming next month since the smartphone will be shipped anywhere in the world at no additional cost.

Little is known about the phone's specs aside from the fact that it comes with triple-SIM support and a decent 5-inch 2.5D arc suspended capacitive touchscreen display that features HD (720p) resolution.

No word on memory and camera

Bluboo has also confirmed its triple-SIM smartphone will come equipped with a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor, but there's no mention of memory amount.

According to the Chinese company, the Xfire 2 supports two nano-SIM cards, which the third SIM card can also be used to add SD memory card to expand storage.

If we are to guess, Bluboo's triple-SIM smartphone is likely to pack 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 32GB.

It will probably ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box, but there are no details on camera and battery.

We also don't know whether or not Bluboo added 4G LTE support, but we can safely assume that it will offer 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB 2.0 and GPS with AGPS connectivity features.
