Blizzard has just confirmed during a panel at Blizzcon 2016 that it's committed to delivering “a steady stream of content throughout” the World of Warcraft: Legion expansion. Following the announcement, Blizzard revealed two new patches that bring a consistent amount of content for World of Warcraft.

Patches 7.1.5 and 7.2 will be released in the coming months, but until then, let's take a look at some of the most important changes they introduce.

The next small update for World of Warcraft: Legion, patch 7.1.5, adds a handful of new features such as system updates, rewards, as well as “evergreen” content. For example, the six Mists of Pandaria dungeons will become part of the Timewalking cycle.

Also, the upcoming Brawler's Guild Season 3 will introduce loads of new bosses that players will be able to fight against, as well as a new challenge in the form of Rumbles. A new basilisk mount will be added too.

Instead of longer holiday events that last about two weeks, Blizzard announced a new type of events called “micro-holiday,” which will only last for a day or two. These events are supposed to be activities players can participate in for fun, not for achievements or other major rewards.

When it comes to PvP, the developers announced they have redesigned the Blade's Edge Arena, and added a new fun feature. Every time players will fight on this specific arena, an ogre announcer will shoutcast the battles.

More class adjustments will be introduced with patch 7.1.5, as Blizzard has confirmed it is looking to increase the diversity of talents. Some tweaks to specific rotations will be implemented too.

Furthermore, patch 7.2 is all about The Tomb of Sargers, the next major raid in World of Warcraft: Legion. This particular patch adds a much larger amount of content, including the continuation of the Class Order Campaign.

Legion Assaults will be unleashed within the various zones of the Broken Isle, much like the invasions across Azeroth prior to Legion's launch.

More importantly, flying comes to Broken Isles. Once you earn the Broken Isles Pathfinder Part One and Two achievements, you will be rewarded with flying account-wide. But there's more, as patch 7.2 will also introduce a new dungeon called Cathedral of Eternal Night.

Many Artifact updates will be added in this patch, such as new Artifact traits that can be earned and unlocked via a new Artifact campaign. This campaign can only be accessed after players have maxed out their Artifact weapon.

At least three new traits per weapons will be added, and players can unlock the ability to spend a fourth point on every existing minor trait on their weapons.

Blizzard has also confirmed that “there will also be new Artifact Knowledge levels to make sure there are adequate catch-up mechanics for those who switch between characters, have alts, or are just coming into the expansion a bit late.”
