The new update brings a wide array of new things

World of Warcraft is set to receive later today, June 23, its big patch 6.2, which brings all sorts of new things to the still popular multiplayer online role-playing experience. To get everyone up to speed, Blizzard has just rolled out a special Survival Guide video that goes through the most important additions found in the upcoming update.

World of Warcraft has been around for over 10 years now, and while it's not the behemoth it once was, Blizzard's MMOMRPG still commands a loyal following of several million subscribers.

Fury of Hellfire patch 6.2 is coming today

In order to keep things fresh and interesting, Blizzard is getting ready to roll out one of its big patches for WoW, in the form of update 6.2, which is called Fury of Hellfire.

The huge patch brings a wide array of fresh content, including a whole new zone, a few legendary quests, 13 raids, mythic difficulty dungeons, and plenty of other interesting things.

Chief among the new elements is a new story chapter that allows players to face off against Gul'dan and the last of the Iron Horde forces.

In order to defeat these new enemies, players will have to upgrade their garrison and recruit new allies. They'll also have to explore some of the aforementioned encounters to ensure they have the best gear available.

A brand new video shows off the big additions

In order to showcase the most important aspects of the new WoW patch, Blizzard now brings a Survival Guide video, which you can admire below. In it, one of the developers walks viewers through the biggest additions found in patch 6.2 and what will appear in the future for WoW.

Update 6.2 for World of Warcraft starts rolling out later today, June 23, across each region.

Another patch that will enable flying and Timewalking is expected in the near future, and it should open up even more new things for WoW players to enjoy in the online experience.
