Gamers will get a range of new Honor-based skills

The development team at Blizzard is ready to reveal that it is planning to introduce some major changes to the way Player versus Player working in World of Warcraft when the Legion expansion launches, to make sure that all players are on equal footing when they enter an Arena.

The studio says that it will no longer allow gamers to use Honor and Conquest to buy gear from vendors and will instead award a new set of Honor Points to all those who reach the level limit for their character, allowing them to progress up to a separate level 50.

Gold, artifact power and all new talents that are only suited for PvP will be unlocked along the way, giving players a range of ways to customize their World of Warcraft characters for combat.

Blizzard states, "a Windwalker Monk who has reached Honor Level 10 can choose Rushing Tiger Palm, which lets them use Tiger Palm at range to dash toward and slow their target. Or, a Restoration Druid, who has reached Honor Level 46 can take Deep Roots, which makes their Entangling Roots spell no longer break when the target is damaged."

All gear that players use will also be ignored when it comes to PvP combat, which means players will get a unique set of stats based on their specialization and the power of their artifact.

Average item level will also allow gamers who get Legion to have a small bonus to their overall effectiveness in combat and Blizzard claims it will have an easier time when it comes to future balance changes.

World of Warcraft is allowing gamers to pick up powerful gear in PvP

Because items no longer offer gamers a big advantage, the studio can give players access to a wide array of powerful items as rewards when they battle others in the MMO and the entire equipment system will be unified.

Blizzard is also shortening Player versus Player seasons in Legion and is improving the way rewards are handed out to factions.

World of Warcraft also introduces Prestige, which can be increased by resetting Honor level when a character reaches 50, allowing him to get access to a badge, a title, a faction pennant, a new Artifact look and a special mount and pet.

Legion will also be coming with two new maps for Arena, designed to offer options for gamers who are focused on PvP battles, one set in the Black Rook Hold and defined by a random set of gates, and another linked to the forests of Val’sharah, with a set of three statues in the center offering tactical opportunities.

The new major expansion for World of Warcraft is expected during the second half of 2016 and will raise the level cap to 110, with gamers able to explore new areas of Azeroth.

The demon hunter class is also introduced for high-level players, and Legion will also give gamers a chance to play in two new major raids and nine dungeons that feature content for five man groups.
