Apparently, money can get you a shoulder to cry on

Apparently, businesswomen in Japan are incredibly stressed at the office. Sometimes, the pressure becomes too much to handle, and so they break down and start crying.

The good news is that, thanks to a new service set to launch this coming September 24, they will no longer have to bother their co-workers to lend them a shoulder to sob on or, even worse, try and get through these difficult times in their life alone.

If they have money, they can buy comfort

Not to prolong the suspense, this new service in Japan that's now grabbing headlines means stressed businesswomen can rent cute men to drop by at their office and wipe away their tears when they're having an especially bad day.

They have seven men to pick and choose from. They are called Ikemeso and they are licensed crying therapists, Oddity Central explains.

If their next customer is already crying by the time they get to her, the crying therapists only have one job: use the softest handkerchief in the history of handkerchiefs to gently wipe away her tears and do their best to comfort her.

If actual tears have not yet happened, the crying therapists are supposed to put on an emotional video meant to induce sobbing.

“More and more women are trying to hold down professional jobs these days but the male dominated, workaholic workforce makes it hard for them. We want such put-upon women to have a good cry and feel better when they feel targeted.”

“We are here to provide a kind word and brush the tears away by one of our seven lovely men on call,” explains Hiroki Terai, the creator of this bizarre service.

Being under the weather doesn't come cheap

As noted, the service hasn't yet made its official debut. Nonetheless, Hiroki Terai says many women have already contacted him to ask for details.

Word has it having a rented cute man wipe away your tears comes with a price tag of about $65 (€58).

For now, it's unclear whether you get to cry your heart out for as long as you like or if maybe you have to be done with it in a couple of minutes or so.
