14 DAY TRIAL // TeamViewer has received a new update on Windows Phone that includes a couple of very helpful features, including the possibility of remote controlling another Windows phone easily.
TeamViewer has become one of the most advanced and easy-to-use remote controlling applications, and fortunately, the company is improving its mobile clients on a regular basis, including the Windows Phone version (in spite of all the bad news lately and the developers that are leaving the platform because of the declining market share).
Version 12, which is currently in beta, offers Windows phone to Windows phone remote connection, which means that users can now connect to another smartphone powered by Microsoft’s mobile operating system and control it remotely, which makes it the perfect option for support or assistance, especially in the case of companies.

A similar feature is also available on Android and iOS, so it’s certainly good for Windows Phone that TeamViewer is not leaving the platform behind and keeping it in sync with rivals.
Additionally, this update also introduces a new feature that offers PC to Windows phone remote connectivity, enabling users to remotely control a Windows phone straight from a desktop computer running the latest version of TeamViewer.
All the other features that were available in the previous releases continue to be available here as well, including support for the highest security standards, integrated computer and contact list, wake-on-LAN, simple reboot, and multi-monitor support.
“Provide spontaneous support for friends and family, or access applications on your home computer while on the go. The TeamViewer app allows you to accomplish all of this as if you were sitting right in front of the remote computer,” the description posted in the Windows Phone Store reads.
For the moment, there’s no release date for the next stable version of TeamViewer that would include these Windows Phone features, but given the fact that a beta is already being developed, it shouldn’t take too long before they go public.
