14 DAY TRIAL // Windows 8.1 with Bing was one of the good decisions made by the former Microsoft leadership team headed by Steve Ballmer, and because sales went really well, the company is looking to continue this success with another Bing-branded version of Windows 10.
The new Windows 10 with Bing OS flavor is projected to launch very soon, according to a report by Liliputing, and Chinese manufacturers are among the first to get it.
Basically, Windows 10 with Bing is a cheaper or even free version of Windows 10 that is exclusively offered to manufacturers who want to install it on their devices and thus reduce the final cost of their products. This Windows version comes with Bing as the default search engine and MSN as the default home page in Edge, but users can obviously change them if they wish.
The secret here is that more users get to know Microsoft's services and many prefer to stick to them eventually (in some markets, competition rules prevent the company from offering its services as default in Windows).
First devices already in the works
According to the same report, Chinese PC makers are already getting ready to debut Windows 10 with Bing devices and Teclast has already confirmed that such a tablet is on its way to Europe.
The device, which is called Teclast X98 Air 3G, will come with both Android 5.0 and Windows 10 with Bing, and will feature an Intel Atom Z3736F Bay Trail processor, 2 GB of RAM, 3G support for on-the-go Internet access, Wi-Fi support, a 9.7-inch screen and up to 64 GB of storage space.
Pricing is yet to be announced, but there are two signs that it's going to be really cheap. First, it's built by a Chinese company, and we all know that Chinese make devices that are really affordable, and second, it comes with Windows 10 with Bing, so expect the device to be available for a couple hundred dollars.
