Microsoft has launched some new Windows 10 wallpapers for insiders today, but at the same time, the company has also released the raw images to give us the opportunity to create our own desktop backgrounds using the ninja cat that quickly becomes an Internet sensation.
Unsurprisingly, it was just a matter of time until insiders joined Microsoft’s game to create their own versions of the ninja cat wallpaper, so now, if you have a look at this hashtag on Twitter, there are already several photos that are as unique as they are funny.
There’s no doubt that the T-Rex running after Steve Ballmer background is the most awesome pic right now, but they’re all worth a look, so check them out below and make sure you submit yours in the comment section after the jump. We’ll have a look at each submission and update the article as more arrive.
Microsoft itself has promised to highlight the best custom wallpapers in the coming days, so if you’re a skilled photo editor, this is the right time to become famous.
“Be creative, mix and match, and show your excitement for win10 by tweeting them with #windows10 #ninjacat and we’ll post some of our favorites too,” Gabe Aul, head of the Windows Insider program, said.
5 million testers
According to Microsoft’s figures, there are more than 5 million Windows insiders right now in the world who help the company develop Windows 10 for PCs and mobile devices.
The number is expected to grow in the coming months, as Microsoft will continue the insider program after the debut of Windows 10 on July 29 in order to develop the next OS updates using feedback sent by the community. The first Windows 10 update is expected to arrive later this year with bugfixes and performance improvements for PCs and tablets.
