The latest report provided by AdDuplex reveals that Black Friday generated slightly better sales for Windows phones, but when it comes to operating systems, Windows 10 Mobile is still lagging behind its predecessor.
First and foremost, when it comes to global market share, Lumia 550 is number one with 13 percent in the Windows ecosystem, followed by Lumia 640 with 12.3 percent and Lumia 535 with 11.5 percent.
When it comes to phones that launched with Windows 10 Mobile, Lumia 550 is once again the leader with 35.4%, while Lumia 650 is the runner-up with 28.7%. Microsoft Lumia 950 is third with 21.3%.
“Provided that most of the stock for these Lumia models is sold out and there are no new phones from either Microsoft or any high volume partners on the horizon, this could be the very last meaningful snapshot of the Windows 10 Mobile ecosystem as we know it,” the report reads.

In the United States, Black Friday generated slightly better sales for Windows phones, and the Lumia 650 is now number 1 with 21.8%, followed by Lumia 950 with 20%.
Microsoft offered huge discounts on its existing Lumia lineup in the United States, and it looks like this is already paying off. Also interesting is that the Alcatel IDOL 4S already moved to the 16th position, while the more expensive HP Elite X3 is now the 18th in the charts.
As far as the operating systems are concerned, Windows Phone 8.1 is still number one with 77.1 percent, while Windows 10 Mobile indeed increased a little bit, but is only at 16 percent. Windows Phone 8.0 is still there with 4.9 percent, and so is Windows Phone 7.x with 2.1 percent.
No less than 81.9 percent of Windows 10 Mobile users are already running version 1607 (Anniversary Update), while 10.4 percent of them can’t actually wait for the Creators Update and installed preview builds shipped as part of the Insider program. Just 7.7 percent of users are still on Windows 10 Mobile version 1511.
